PESTICIDE APPLICATION FOR GREENWICH TOWNSHIP
In compliance with NJAC 7:30-9.19 notice is hereby given that the Greenwich Township Department of Public Works, will be applying Herbicides for the control of Roadside and Right of Way Vegetation on an area- wide basis, as needed, throughout Greenwich Township during the months spanning Monday April 29, 2019 through Friday November 1, 2019.
The herbicides to be used in the roadside right of way vegetation program will be contact post & pre-emergence pesticides applied by low volume equipment mounted and hand sprayers. All persons interested in obtaining additional information regarding Greenwich Township Department of Public Works pesticide activities may contact Jeffrey B. Howell (908) 859-0909 ext. 28
The following pesticide is the herbicide that may be used throughout the season. Glyphosate Herbicide 84009-12 Upon request the pesticide applicator shall provide a resident with notification at least 12 hours prior to application. Except for quarantine and disease vector control only, when conditions necessitate pesticide soon than that time
