Come wrestle with the Grizzlies!
We are looking forward to another fun and successful season with new and returning wrestlers – now K- 8th grade! We are joining a new league this year (PAWL) – all matches will be close to home, all dual-meets!
We placed 4th overall in our league last year and had 4 champions!!
It is mandatory that every one of our coaches has a love and passion for wrestling and strives to encourage every child to succeed on and off the wrestling mat. We would love for your child to become a part of our program and help continue to build an already successful program. Hope to see you in the fall!.

PHILLIPSBURG AREA WRESTLING LEAGUE (PAWL) - NEW for 2011. This league will encompass towns like Lopatcong, Pohatcong, Steele Hill, PAL, and Easton). Minimal travel is required and the meets will be shorter dual meets. Your child will be matched to wrestle against other children with the same weight and ability. The Tri-County League is a separate league run in conjunction with PAWL and available for the most advanced wrestlers ready for the next level of competition (www.tcywl.net). Your coach will notify you if you are a candidate for the Tri-County League.
November – March. The fee is $60 (non-refundable). Registration opens online 9/15. Deadline For registration is 10/15. A grace period to register is between 10/16 and 10/31 with a late fee of $25 applied

- Dates & Times – Typically Tues/Thurs at Alpha Field House and possible extra time Wed/Fri at Phillipsburg Middle School for those that would benefit practicing with the Tri-County League.
- Location - Multipurpose room (Stewartsville Middle School, Alpha Field House, Phillipsburg Middle School)
Matches are held on Sundays – Home matches are held at the Stewartsville Middle School Gymnasium
Singlets and warm-ups will be provided. A uniform bond of $80 will be required for any wrestler that is issued a varsity uniform. This check will not be cashed unless the uniform is not returned or is returned damaged. Participant must supply their own headgear and wrestling shoes.
