On Wednesday, July 22, 2020, the Township received results of a confirmed case of rabies in a kitten tested on Friday, July 17, 2020. The animal was found in the area of Washington Street, and we would like to take this opportunity to remind the public to be mindful of maintaining a safe distance from wildlife and other domestic animals they are not familiar with. This includes keeping a close eye on pets as well. Below are some recommendations to further protect yourself and your pets.
